This video demonstrates Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair with Cheaper Mesh. It has been clearly demonstrated in developed countries that the modern standard of care for inguinal hernia meshes repair, either through an open repair, namely the Lichtenstein procedure. Compared to non-mesh repairs, the use of a mesh in inguinal hernia surgery provides better results in terms of recurrence and decreased early and late postoperative pain.
